Community Resources

The Department of Community Resources of Sant Pere Claver Hospital Foundation was born in August 2006 from the first Day Centre for Homeless People for the district of Sants-Montjuïc.

The Department of Community Resources works to create and manage the essential resources preferentially for the following groups:

  • People without a home (housing with support, promoting and accompanying the job insertion process, etc.).

  • People with some sort of mental disorder or who are in danger of having one (support homes, social clubs, prevention of schizophrenia, support for independence, etc.)

  • People in difficulties as a consequence of the migration process (community and psychological services adapted to the person’s ethnical and cultural characteristics).

  • Young people exposed to social and psychological risks (orientation and treatment services in solving social, relation and drug problems).
