Dental Clinic

Presentation
The Sant Pere Claver Hospital Foundation’s Dental Clinic was opened on May 20, 1998 to cover the dental needs of the Poble-Sec neighbourhood and other groups that need comprehensive dental care.

The clinic offers immediate and emergency dental care and at the same time tries to cover the dental needs of people with physical and mental disabilities that may not be able to come into the centre. The service offers comfortable, economical dental care that consists in an ordinary visit, in which the nurse receives the patient in the clinic, takes down their details and fills out the clinical form. The dentist then examines the patient’s teeth and a quote for the necessary treatment can be made on the same day.

The team of professionals take care to focus on the dental needs expressed by the patient and use increasingly advanced methods and technologies to offer good service and reduce waiting lists. The main objective of the service is to improve the dental health of its patients. The services aims to find answers for the patients’ pains, worries and doubts.

The Dental Clinic treats a wide range of patients, although the main pathologies diagnosed are related to periodontal diseases (gum diseases) and dental caries. Also offered within the comprehensive dental service are: orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, whitening and periodontal treatment, among others.
The Dental Clinic has begun a new Dental Care Service for Disabled People (AOD) and Dental Care for Immigrants
